100% of proceeds benefit life-enhancing programs and supportive housing for Hawai‘i Island keiki and teens 

KAILUA-KONA, HAWAI‘I ISLAND—A dozen performers take the stage to benefit island youth at the Festival in the Field Saturday, Sept. 21 at Maka‘eo Soccer Field at the Old Kona Airport State Recreation Area. Time is noon-10 p.m. and the entertainment lineup includes Ho‘aikane, Kanaka Fyah, Damon Williams, Pomai, Loeka & Friends, Star from Steppas, Wehilei, Wailau Ryder, Kalapana Awa Band, Positive Motion, Ahuhea and George Wit, Ryan Hiraoka, Kenny Tagavilla and Lehua Bray Halau o Maunalei.

100% of proceeds benefit the non-profits Humanity Hale and Keiki of Da ‘Aina that provide life-enhancing programs and supportive housing for Hawai‘i Island keiki and teens.

“Get ready to jam ʻohana style with the best of the Big Island,” invites Humanity Hale founder Charis Higginson and Keiki of Da ‘Aina founder Nakoa Pabre. “Enjoy live music, fun for the keiki, delicious food and drinks, DJs, vendors and good vibes—all for a good cause.”

Keiki fun includes booth games and a bouncy castle. Choose from an array of food vendors and local artisans selling their creations and enjoy refreshing beverages at the beer garden. Festival goers should bring their own seating, there will be a designated area off to the side for those wishing to erect pop-up tents and outside coolers are not allowed. Festival in the Field is a Zero Waste event.

General admission—keiki under 10 are free— and VIP Experience tickets are on sale with tiered pricing broken down by purchase date at festivalinthefield.eventbrite.com. VIP benefits include reserved table seating with premium views of the stage, complimentary drinks and food, plus a dedicated VIP lounge complete with a misting fan for comfort.
